Although LinkedIn publishing is a nice feature which in my opinion has caused a few people to get away from posting on their own blog, I 100% believe that writing on my own blog is far more beneficial because I am constantly adding new original content to my website because of blogging. Content is still KING. Google loves fresh, relevant, original content.

Google loves fresh, relevant, original content. Think about that for a moment and maybe you’ll be more motivated to write at least a weekly blog post.

I could go on and on about the benefits of blogging and why I don’t think it’s a waste of time. However, I’m going with the less is more approach in this blog post. I’m keeping it shorter and repeating this one more time: Blogging adds regular content to your website. Content is still KING. Google loves fresh, relevant, original content. Do I really need to say more?

Although blogging is free, it does take up your time. But just one good blog post a week can be done in one hour or less. Can you find 1 hour in your 168 hour week to write just one blog post that can make a difference over time in your business? Will you start writing blog posts or continue to convince yourself that you don’t have even 1 hour per week to spare?

FYI, get up one hour earlier one day per week and make it happen.
